Bhanu Priya was the dancing sensation of the South. She was the first one to do it professionally and thoroughly. Dance
is her first love - she enjoyed it to the core and she still is. The beautiful actress down South made her debut while she
was doing the school final, when the renowned Tamil Director, "BHARATHI RAJA", being so confident of her dancing
prowess and acting capabilities after screen-testing her had given her a chance in his new production "MELLA
PESINA".Later, she stepped into "Tollywood" where she was given a welcome chance and it was where she'd given her
best and she's the dancing princess in the "Tollywood". Alhough Bhanu Priya is known for the magnificient skills in
Dance, she's got the looks too. She's just beautiful and she acts beautiful when she's offered and given a performanceoriented
role. That's her choice too - In "Tollywood", she first acted in "PREMA DEEPALU" but the all time musical
blockbuster "SITARA" was the first one on the stands and that had won her all the appreciation she deserved and had
given her a break with all the top heroes and the top directors.
Alhough Bhanu Priya is known for the magnificient skills in Dance, she's got the looks too.

All in all, Bhanu Priya acted in 75 films in "Tollywood", 26 in "Tamil", 13 in "Bollywood", 4 in "Malayalam" and 1 in
"Kannada", but "SITARA" was her first and the best movie.
Bhanu Priya acted as a dignified elderly house-wife in "PEDARAYUDU" and thinks such roles should be grabbed at the
first offer and the role she was offered in "ANNAMAYYA" which the production unit thought that only she would justify
was a great one which she feels lucky about.
But there was a huge gap in her filmi-career when she was at the top place in the "Tollywood" especially - due to her
sheer fault that instead of building her career which was so colourful, she got attracted to the Bollywood's offers and
that's precisely where she erred though she could act in a few films down there.
But she makes no excuses. And she has a lot of plans for herself taking up a research in dance and add new styles to
the contemporary repertoire besides establishing a dance institutuion for the youth.
