Bollywood queen and International celebrity Aishwarya Rai was born in 1973 at Mangalore in Indian state of Karnataka.
Her Father Krishnaraj Rai is a marine engineer and Her mother Vrinda Rai a writer. Aishwarya has one brother, his name
Aditya Rai. Aditya is three years older than Aishwarya Rai. Aditya Rai is in the merchant navy. Aishwarya Rai's native
language is Tulu, but she can also speaks English, Hindi, Urdu, Kannada, Marathi and Tamil. She was a student of
Ruparel College, Mumbai on track to become an architect.
Aishwarya started modeling on the side while studying in college. Aishwarya Rai got her first break in a Pepsi commercial
video. Aishwarya Rai's modeling performance and talent led her to the Miss India pageant in 1994. She Won the title
against Sushmita Sen in final round of the pageant. Then She also won the title of the Miss World. Then Aishwarya Rai
never given the chance to look back.
Aishwarya Rai prefers not to talk to the media about her personal life. Aishwarya Rai has been the only actor from
Bollywood industry to have made appearances on the Late Show with David Letterman, the Oprah Winfrey Show and the
prestigious 60 minutes. Aishwarya is the first Indian actress to be on the jury of the Cannes International Film Festival Is,
the first actress and performer from India to be featured on the cover of Time magazine, the first Bollywood star to
appear in Rolling Stone magazine (Issue 932, October 2, 2003). In addition Aishwarya is an international brand
ambassador for L'Oreal along with also endorsing Pepsi, Longines and Fuji Films. Aishwarya has won over 50 awards
since 1994.
Aishwarya Rai began dating with Salman Khan after movie Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, but their breakup a few years
later. Then She finally married with Bollywood star Abhishek Bachchan who three year younger than her. After the
marriage she became a member of Indian Super star and King of Bollywood Amitabh Bachchan family.
